Transportation and Hosting

Using public transport:
 — from air­port Otopeni (Hen­ri Coan­da): Express lines 783 or 780 to Pia­ta Pre­sei Libere + tram 41 (one sta­tion — Agro­nom­ic Insti­tute);
- from the North Rail­way Sta­tion: 105, 205 or 282;
- 105 to Pia­ta Pre­sei Libere (end of the line Pia­ta Pre­sei Libere);
- 205 to Pia­ta Pre­sei Libere (Sta­tion Muzeul Sat­u­lui);
- 282 to Arcul de Tri­umf (Sta­tion Man­a­s­tirea Casin);
NOTE: Tick­ets for pub­lic trans­port can­not be bought direct­ly from dri­ver, but only from RATB tick­ets sta­tions. The price is 1.3 RON (approx. 30 cents), except for express lines 783 or 780 for which the price is 4 RON (approx. 1 EUR).

Using taxi services:

 — from Otopeni air­port 15–20 min­utes dur­ing the mid­day and overnight, 30–40 min­utes dur­ing peak hours (8:00 to 10:00 AM, 5:00 to 7:00 PM);
- from the North Rail­way Sta­tion 10–15 min­utes dur­ing the mid­day and overnight, 20–30 min­utes dur­ing peak hours (8:00 to 10:00 AM, 5:00 to 7:00 PM);
NOTE: Bucharest taxi tar­iff is 1.4 RON / km (30–35 cents / km). Taxis can be found at the exit from air­port. We rec­om­mend you to check the tar­iff before enter­ing the taxi door. The aver­age dis­tance from the Otopeni air­port is 15 km (23 RON ~ 6 EUR), and the dis­tance from the North Rail­way Sta­tion is 4.5 km (8 RON ~ 2 EUR).
